Luxembourg Hi-Fi & Home Cinema Show 2015

For its second appearance at the HIFI CINEMOTION 2015 show in Luxembourg, Bell Acoustique set out to show the influence of power cables. Throughout the day we offered "blind" comparative listening sessions between:

• the system optimised by Bell Acoustique with cables (interconnects & power) matched to the specific characteristics of each piece of equipment;

• and the same system in which the power cables of the CD player and of the pre-amp/converter had been replaced with ordinary cables.

System composition

Demonstration equipment

A system made up of various commercially available devices, for a neutral, monitoring-style reproduction.

• TEAC VRDS 25 player (pre-2000) connected by optical fibre to the (recent) ANTELOPE AUDIO GOLD pre-amp/converter, running with its separate VOLTIKUS power supply.
• Active (tri-amplified) STUDER A5 speakers (over 15 years old).

We were glad to show that, in the end, every connection has an influence on the system.

This show was a real moment of sharing our passion with dedicated audiophiles.
